David Mazouz has been taking part in several podcasts in the last weeks to discuss what’s to come in “Gotham” season 4, and shared interesting, exciting and spoilery information with fans.

Just today, Gotham TV Podcast released an interview where David talked about Bruce’s vigilante costume this season, what it’s like to film an episode, his favorite scenes to shoot, where Bruce is going next, what’s ahead for Bruce and Selina’s relationship, the new Poison Ivy (played by Peyton List) and how she’s going to affect Bruce’s evolution, and working with various directors on the show. Be sure to listen to his interview on the Gothm TV Podcast website, it’s not to be missed.

Earlier in February, David talked to Geek Vibes Nation about playing Bruce Wayne, where he takes his inspiration from to portray that iconic role, his favorite comic books, the introduction of bats on the show and what Batman gadget he’d like to see on “Gotham”, but also which cast member he’d like to work with, how the second half of the season is villain heavy, if Jerome will become the Joker, and working with Cameron Monaghan in season 3. You can listen to the whole podcast below (the interview starts at 3:47):

And last but certainly not least, back in January, Discussing Film posted their interview with David speaking about the slower progression of Bruce in the remaining episodes of this season, the upgrade of his suit, a different approach to Bruce’s fear of bats being introduced soon, the confrontation between Bruce and Jerome and working with Cameron Monaghan, if Jerome will turn out to be the Joker, villains teaming up in the second half of season 4, if we’ll ever see Batman on the show and how David wants the show to end, his opinion about Batfleck and “Justice League”, who his favorite Joker is, and finally his favorite TV shows and films. TV Insider shared a new sneak peek at tonight’s season premiere of “Gotham”, where Bruce pays Jim Gordon a little visit at the GCPD. You can watch the scene below:

There’s more! David Mazouz also talked about Bruce’s motivations for becoming a vigilante in season 4, and how it’ll impact his life:

“I feel like Bruce really has evolved in a major way. We pick three months after Season 3 ended and within that time, Bruce has been vigilante-ing out on the streets. And, of course, that’s going to change a person. That’s going to make them more tough, more raw, and that’s exactly what Bruce is now.

A big, big reason why he’s doing this vigilante thing is because it’s fun. Bruce is doing it because he’s having the time of his life. As a teenager, he wants to just have fun, do what he wants to do, like most teenagers; I can very much relate to that myself. And that, obviously, is not why Batman does it.”

Hinting that “a very traumatic experience” will lead Bruce to make a decision “that will change his life — his entire life — forever,” the 16-year-old actor reveals that his fledgling crimefighter’s nocturnal activities will divide the key players in town, including two of his previous allies. “Bruce’s mission gets in the way of his relationship with Selina (Camren Bicondova) and he has to choose between the two. And not just Selina, it also happens with his relationship with Gordon (Ben McKenzie).”

“Gotham” season 4 premieres tonight, at 8/7c, on FOX.

Take a look at the latest teasers for “Gotham” season 4, before the show returns this Thursday, September 21, at 8/7c, on FOX.

Now for the spoilers. TV Guide published a little peek at how Ra’s al Ghul will impact Bruce this season:

The Scoop: Ra’s al Ghul (Alexander Siddig) is back in the fold, returning to help put the finishing touches on Bruce’s transition into becoming Batman in Season 4. The famed leader of the League of Assassins will “snap” the last twig of Bruce’s innocence, as Siddig puts it, plunging the young man further down the dark path to becoming his vigilante alter ego. “My character has been on a centuries long mission to locate Bruce and finally finds him, and will do anything he can to get his hands on him, to manipulate him into what [Ra’s] wants him to be,” Siddig says. “That is going to be Bruce’s biggest challenge. Just how dark will he go? How far is he prepared to follow Ra’s al Guhl?” According to the actor, Season 4 is going to be “a season so far of extremes” – so get ready for things to get even darker on “Gotham”.

And about Bruce’s vigilante suit, TVLine confirmed what a previous teaser implied:

Is “Gotham’s” Lucius Fox the one making Bruce’s armor? — Mae Anne
You just evoked the name of executive producer Danny Cannon’s “favorite character”! “Yes, Lucius is beginning to suspect that Alfred and Bruce might have a double life and politely weaves his way in,” Cannon said when I hand-delivered your Q. “Lucius has worked for Wayne Industries and he may work there again one day, and for right now he doesn’t want to see Bruce get hurt. So he finds a way of helping without interfering.”

TVLine published spoilers about the new season of “Gotham”, as well as the very first still from episode 1, “Pax Penguina”. Click the thumbnail to see the full picture in the gallery, and read more below:

Season 4 of the DC Comics drama, says exec producer Danny Cannon, is “focusing on character more than anything else” — namely, how Jim Gordon, Penguin and other established characters react to Bruce Wayne’s coming of age: “Somebody who until now has been seen as a wealthy child is now seen as the emerging threat he is.” As Bruce faces that future, watch for Alfred to vie for mentorship of his ward with Ra’s al Ghul. (“An almost amoral figure from such a dark and ancient past coming into Bruce’s life when he is so susceptible to influence gives us lots of drama,” Cannon notes.) Jim’s world meanwhile will be rocked by no less than a return, a new love and new, canon DC villains — such as Scarecrow, Professor Pyg (“Fringe’s” Michael Cerveris), Toymaker and Solomon Grundy né Butch Gilzean — just as Penguin’s plan to “legitimize crime” steers Gotham into a(nother) spiral.

BONUS SPOILER!: Selina’s alliance with Tabitha is all part of “building up the Sirens’ origin story,” Barbara and Ivy included, says Cannon. “We’ll be watching Selina turn into a woman, but what kind of woman will she be? Vengeful and resentful, or somebody of amazing potential?”

RETURN DATE: Thursday, Sept. 21 at 8/7c (Fox)
